Case Study: Restructuring & Insolvency, Third Sector

Operational and funding challenges as a result of COVID for community centre. This led to the winding-down of the London based organisation.

CASE STUDY Third Sector – Forced suspension during COVID for Community Centre, London

The Client

This was a community-based organisation providing services to residents in the London Borough of Camden. We managed the winding-down and closure, following the forced suspension of many of the key operations of the charity during the COVID period. The charity struggled to procure adequate local authority funding to continue to operate, resulting in insolvency issues.

The Conclusion

We led a managed winding-down process and transfer of some key functions to other bodies to maintain some services to the local community.
