Opus Business Advisory Group becomes Opus Advisory Group

We are delighted to announce that Opus Business Advisory Group has become Opus Advisory Group, marking an important milestone in the continued growth and evolution of the firm.

The change reflects how significantly Opus has developed in recent years. While our roots in restructuring and insolvency remain a core part of the Group, , Opus today brings together a much broader range of specialist expertise.

Now the largest independently owned restructuring and advisory firm in the UK, our growing national team now supports both private businesses and public sector organisations as well as individuals across an expanding range of advisory services, from restructuring, advisory and forensic accounting through to areas including grants, corporate finance and personal insolvency.

The move to Opus Advisory Group is therefore more than a change of name. It better represents who we are today, the breadth of expertise across the Group, who we support and our ambition for the future.

Our independence remains central to that. As we have grown, we have retained the agility, commercial mindset and personal approach that have always differentiated Opus, combining specialist expertise and national reach with advice that is pragmatic, accessible and tailored to the client.

Tim Dolder, Managing Partner at Opus Advisory Group, said, “Opus has changed enormously over the past few years. We have grown our team, our national footprint and, importantly, the breadth of expertise we can offer clients across a wide range of markets in times of opportunity as well as challenge. The name Opus Advisory Group is a much better reflection of the business we are today.”

He continues, “This is an exciting moment for us, but it isn’t about changing what makes Opus, Opus. We remain fiercely independent, commercially minded and focused on giving our clients straightforward, high-quality advice.”

Trevor Binyon, Managing Partner, added, “We have always believed there is a real place in the market for a truly independent restructuring and advisory firm; one that can offer the depth and breadth of expertise clients need without losing the entrepreneurialism and personal service that comes with independence. Our growth over recent years has reinforced that belief, and there is much more still to come.”

Colin Wilson, Managing Partner, said, “This feels like a natural next step for Opus. We are supporting clients across more areas, more sectors and more stages of their journey than ever before. The new name gives us the platform to continue building on that, while remaining absolutely clear about who we are and how we work.”

The name may be shorter, but our ambition certainly isn’t. Welcome to Opus Advisory Group.
