Andrew is a highly experienced Insolvency Practitioner with more than 40 years in the restructuring and insolvency profession. Based in Opus’ South Coast office, Andrew brings extensive expertise across a wide range of sectors including engineering, fashion, retail and construction, advising on administrations, liquidations and receiverships, as well as supporting businesses with restructuring and funding solutions to help avoid formal insolvency. 

 Andrew has led complex and high-profile assignments throughout his career, including cross-border matters. Most notably, he recently acted as liquidator of a globally recognised Italian lingerie brand, successfully securing the future of the 70-year-old business and safeguarding over 200 jobs through an innovative international protocol. 

 Earlier in his career, Andrew worked as an Examiner at the Insolvency Service, giving him a strong regulatory grounding alongside his extensive practical experience. He is well known and respected across the South Coast restructuring community, with a long-standing track record of building relationships and leading successful teams. 

At Opus, Andrew is focused on strengthening the firm’s South Coast presence, supporting businesses and stakeholders across the region, and contributing to the continued regional growth. 

 Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time in the countryside with his wife and their two labradors, as well as cooking, music and watching sport. A Portsmouth supporter and keen clay pigeon shooter, he also enjoys tackling home improvement projects.
