Lindsay is a qualified chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience in many different business sectors. Having started his career in general practice, managing and advising a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, he later gained experience in industry as an accountant for a Leeds-based charity and as the finance director for a medium-sized plant hire company for seven years. From 2003, he spent most of his time specialising in forensic accounting with a primary focus on commercial, matrimonial and professional negligence cases, to which he applied his key skills of analysing and interpreting financial data, identifying key evidence and presenting facts in a clear and concise manner. Lindsay recently retired from his position as an associate director at Armstrong Watson in Leeds and now works on a limited part-time basis as a sole practitioner and freelance consultant.
Outside professional life, Lindsay is a keen photographer specialising in wildlife and landscapes.
