2021 was a busy year! As well as opening offices in Maidstone, Nottingham and Preston; we also began building our presence in Scotland with offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, each with new local Partners.
With our commitment to supporting businesses with Partners who have local knowledge, we opened offices in Bristol, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne with new Partners joining us from each region.
Opus’s business advisory services were expanded to form a new service offering branded Opus Business Advisory & Turnaround. This service is focused on supporting businesses through a turnaround, looking to improve a company’s financial and / or operational performance and assist with its growth.
Hyde House was acquired at the beginning of 2018 to expand the corporate finance division. At this point, Precision Opus was rebranded to acknowledge the acquisition and repositioning of the corporate finance company as Opus Hyde House.
Continuing its expansion, Pear Tree Forensic Accounting joined the Group to form Opus Pear Tree in 2017 to deliver forensic accounting services to organisations requiring support through litigation and disputes.
Having already managed many business sales, Opus wanted to deliver dedicated support for clients looking to grow through acquisition as well as helping clients looking for a viable exit option. Precision Opus was formed as a Corporate Finance division of the business to deliver lead advisory for both merger and acquisition services across the full spectrum of market sectors.
