Gareth Wilcox is an Executive Partner at Opus and a licensed insolvency practitioner with over 17 years corporate restructuring & insolvency experience having initially trained to be a solicitor before switching disciplines to insolvency. He heads-up the Birmingham office in the Midlands with a wealth of experience in dealing with all solvent and insolvent engagements.

As part of the Executive Committee at Opus, Gareth is part of a team that drives a number of the firm’s short- and mid-term objectives, alongside the wider growth plans, all whilst ensuring that the firm’s strong people culture is maintained.  

As well as his work in the UK, Gareth is also regulated by the Qatar Financial Centre Authority to undertake assignments in Qatar.

Outside of work Gareth is a married Aston Villa fan who enjoys all things loud – cars, heavy metal, and (loudest of all) spending time with his two young sons.
