Our Business Advisor, Nick Hood had the pleasure of being interviewed by Kimiko de Freytas-Tamura for an article in the New York Times about the current outsourcing model used to service public sector contracts in Britain.
Looking primarily at the problems in the Care Home market, the article also considers the wider challenges with the outsourcing model including the recent Carillion crisis as well as Capita’s announcement.
