Ian has been working in insolvency since 2004. He qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 2010 and began taking appointments in 2016.
During this time he has dealt with all size of companies from a single employee hairdressers to a national retail chain with 750 members of staff.
Ian prides himself on a caring, empathetic and understanding approach to those in financial difficulty. He can clearly explain all available options and takes pains to ensure struggling directors fully understand their position.
As part of the Executive Committee at Opus, Ian is part of a team that drives a number of the firm’s short- and mid-term objectives, alongside the wider growth plans, all whilst ensuring that the firm’s strong people culture is maintained.
Ian’s personal interests including watching rugby league and attending comedy gigs. He has recently restarted playing 5 a side football after a three-year break and appears to be even slower than before. He also owns more Lego than a grown man probably should.
