Larry commenced his professional career at Deloitte in 1989, where he worked on several distressed projects across a variety of sectors including the aviation industry. At the same time the intervening years saw Jobsz work as an associate member of R3 the trade association of corporate Rescue, Recovery and Restructuring workers in the UK.
The industry veteran spent much of his career at Buchler Phillips. Joining the firm in 1994, his most recent role there was as Manging Partner which saw him lead significant assignments for a diverse mix of clients and enjoy huge success working with troubled companies.
After several years working directly with a large and diverse mix of UK enterprises, Larry joined Opus Business Advisory Group to focus his efforts on the wide range of SME business which form the backbone of the UK economy.
Having spent over 30 years in corporate recovery, Larry’s skills and experience particularly lean towards certain industries such as the aviation industry, where he is part of the Airline Management Group, which is currently facing a flurry of headwinds.
Outside of work, Larry enjoys sport. He played college cricket and basketball in Sri Lanka prior to leaving the Island shores for England in the late 70’s. He is now a keen golfer and enjoys playing in local tournaments in North London.
