Simon Campbell is a Partner at Opus Restructuring & Insolvency, based in the firm’s Southampton office. With more than 30 years’ experience in restructuring and advisory, Simon works with businesses, lenders and stakeholders across a broad range of sectors, providing commercially focused advice through periods of financial change, challenge and recovery. 

 Having spent the last 20 years working across the South Coast market, Simon has built a strong nationwide referral network and a reputation for delivering pragmatic, solutions-led support to mid-market businesses and SMEs alike. His experience spans both formal insolvency appointments and early-stage advisory work, helping clients understand their options and navigate the benefits and pitfalls associated with financial distress. 

 Simon has particular expertise in the construction, property, technology, care home and agriculture sectors. He is also recognised for his specialist work involving complex property matters, including build-outs and fractional investment schemes for lenders, developers and other property stakeholders. 

 At Opus, Simon works closely with Mike Field, Andrew Watling and the wider South Coast team as part of the firm’s continued growth across the region. 

 Outside of work, Simon enjoys playing cricket, golf and tennis, all, by his own admission, to increasingly mediocre standards.
