The travel industry has arguably been the most affected sector during the pandemic, facing huge disruption both home and abroad. On the 21st of July, Opus Partner, David Butler, joined industry experts for ABTA’s webinar series discussing financial resilience and funding solutions for travel businesses. Using recent case studies, David discussed the broad options available to travel businesses in distress from business reviews, restructuring and turnaround, insolvency advice, avenues of funding and investment, as well as possibilities for mergers and acquisitions. David outlined that the key for businesses is to approach professional services at the first sign of difficulty when the most options are available to them.
