Opus rescues Clacton residential care home with sale to Alliance Care & Support

Opus has secured the future of the Woodboro care home in Clacton through a sale to Alliance Care & Support. Report by Care Home Professional magazine.

Tim Dolder, from Opus Restructuring, which handled the sale, said he was glad to have secured the operation for residents and staff. “With the UK residential care sector coming under increasing financial pressure, Opus is delighted to have found a positive outcome for the residents and staff at Woodboro thanks to the confidence in the future of the home shown by Alliance Care,” he said.

“We were particularly gratified to hear from relatives of the residents how much they appreciated the sensitive approach taken, which helped to achieve this result.”
